In case you had not picked up, in this months Inflight Magazine, there is a printing error, on the page which details lounge access and entry qualifications, it WRONGLY states that Saphire OW and gold QF have access to Business Lounges.
This was raised with QF and they have acknowledged the PRINTING ERROR, but for this month only, (untill the next magazine is issued) will allow access to the Business Lounge for OW Saphire and QF Gold,
Lucky I have not booked any flights this month, might be a little crowded in there?

What a stuff up! I can imagine most BNE members would rush back to the QP anyway!

Lucky they didn't extend it to the Flounge :D

Speaking of printing errors, you might like to check that thread title for a nice fat one.

Allowing the International J lounge access and eligibility rules (OW Sapphire and QF Gold) for the Domestic J lounges (OW Emerald and QF Platinum)?

Nice! Looking forward to Island Dining before QF483 this Friday.

Hi
Where abouts does it state it in the magazine, just want to be prepared incase I am asked on Friday.

Good find :)

thanks

I'm unsure a printing error is enough reason to relax lounge access requirements?

Imagine they'd made an error to say all Bronze members have access to the QP, I doubt very much they'd actually allow that, so this seems odd?

I have rarely had an issue with numbers in the J lounge. Most of the time I find myself a seat, sometimes 4, and have enough space. You obviously fly at busier times, but I've seen the lounge busy too, just clearly not as busy as you. As a Platinum, I wouldn't be choosing the regular QP much over the J lounge, if ever.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

It is printed in the section at the rear of the magazine that covers OW, there is no page number on the page.

CBR didn't allow access yesterday. They said they did for the first week, but have decided not to allow access for the rest of the month. Oh well, there are worst things in life to deal with.

Will try Sydney this Sunday. Unfortunately the my next flight out of Sydney after that is September 1 :(
