Apologies if this has already been discussed, it's a little hard to search when your keyword is "e" also I wasn't sure whether to post in AA or in Qantas.

Anyway, is Qantas' usage of "e" class relatively new? I've seen references to it but I have not not seen it used before yesterday.

Secondly does e class earn on AA? And before you jump on me I know the AA table does not list "e" for Qantas - but is that possibly because it hasn't been used before?:confused:

Thanks! :D

E is relatively new

Since E is not listed, E is ineligable for mileage earning

I snagged one of these fares recently but credited to QF, as AA's QF Earning Chart didn't list it (which, as Dave Noble says, means it's ineligible). Same can be said for G fare basis

Thanks. Out of interest has it been tested?

I doubt you need to test if its not listed it wont be credited. Tried this myself a couple of times, never any luck.
