Has anyone been on any of AA's converted CRJ with F installed?
The configuration looks like a 1-2 with 3 rows but wondering if they installed in seat power for them?
I couldn't find any seat maps with the new configuration that might have this info..
Any other tips, ie best seats to pick?

Was due to fly one in Sep but they changed the flight schedule making a 40min connection in EWR (not good) so back on an MD80.

Based on previous single mode format where Row 1 was good, I had selected 1A.

I travelled on one recently. If travelling alone I would choose one of the single seats if possible but wouldn't say that there is anything really to choose between them

Seats n service were very much like AA F on mainline AA services ; being all new, the aeroplane is nicer imo than the normal AA aeroplanes

Be aware, of course, that being a regional jet there is only minimal hand luggage space and most hand luggage will need to be valet checked on boarding

Thanks for the links drron

Thanks Dave, just pre selected 1A for all my flights on the CRJ. Fingers crossed there is some in seat power but being a regional jet might be hoping too much!

I recently flew JFK - DCA on an AA CRJ with the F seats fitted, but no F cabin. I was the last to check in - out of 15 pax, so I asked the CSA if I could have one of the "F" seats. He gladly obliged, but went to some great lengths to explain that they were not supposed to allocate them and that there would be no F service!

That said, the seats were very comfortable and roughly equivalent to AA domestic F seat. I did think it strange that on the particular aircraft that I was on at least, the seats looked used - that is not new. I was 2A. For all of a 40 minute flight.

The configuration was weird as you take a sharp left hand turn when you leave the F cabin as the seating goes from 1 + 2 to 2+2. I did seem to me that row 4 had more leg room than rows 1,2 and 3!

Sorry, no idea about seat power. Not relevant for me.

Almost certain that there was no seat power
