747 Seat Selection

I'm flying on QF27 tomorrow in Y (SYD to SCL) and I noticed that at the front of the cabin is a mini economy section, with Row 40 being invisible but 41 being available to select. The Qantas website reveals row 40 is "unavailable for selection" (see attached image). Does anyone have any experience with these seats - what is this part of the cabin like? Seatguru isn't too informative and recommends simply avoiding Row 41 due to limited recline - will it be quieter however?

40HJK are crew rest seats.

The mini cabin is great. Hardly ever full on the flights I've been on. Usually row 43 is first row of economy so that must be the 3 class configuration but same mini cabin.

For anyone interested/searching for the same info - row 41 was relatively quiet and comfortable, particularly from nobody sitting in front or behind, and the nearby toilets weren't actually that close. The crew rest area is separated by a curtain over the top of the seats (it was occupied for only a short portion of the 12 hour flight). The seat didn't recline fully however, and only a partial window was available. The 4 seat block in the middle (DEFG) looked like a better option from what I could tell - I think if I want a window seat in the future back in the main cabin might be a better choice.

Just for further info for anyone doing the SYD/SCL run on Qantas metal, be aware that QF and LA divide the seat map between them - so if you are using their sites or expertflyer, you only see a partial seat map. To see the full picture, use expertflyer and do a search on both flights - QF27 is also LA806, and QF28 is also LA807.
