I already have a eShopping account. Earned 500 miles a while back for downloading the eShopping tool bar and earn another 100 miles each month for doing searches. So I have already earned more than 1000 miles from it. But unfortunately I can't earn again through this current promo . I would happily watch the video for 500 miles, but it seems you can only do that after registering a new account.

Still trying to decide if it is worthwhile enrolling my parents and brother into AAdvantage for the easy 1,000 AA miles on this promotion. Are there any bonus mile offers for enrolling in Aadvantage?

Apart form one month when I was not as dilignent as normal, I have earned 100 miles per month plus the initial 500 mile bonus paid back in May last year. An easy 100 miles and enough to ensiure my account clock over every month to renew my miles just in case my flying dries up for a period.

I think I've commented on this before, but I have no idea how you manage to get 100 miles/month from the searches. Even with natural searching I tend to get about 1 mile per 2-3 searches ... and end up giving up quickly. My search terms just aren't considered valid.

-- edit: To clarify, my searches aren't being declared valid, not that I'm only getting 1 mile per 3 searches. BTW - any ideas when that was changed?

I can generally earn 100 miles with not too many more than 300 searches
