Just got one this morning via email. Pretty sure it could be targeted as I’ve been searching the QF site for a few days for Gold Coast flights and then this morning I get an email titled “Fly to the Gold Coast, get 50% more Status Credits”

That's a much shorter travel period than normally, only four months compared to the previous offers with 11 months.

Usually in Feb/Mar. No 50% offer for my partner or I, this was almost certainly targeted.

I got a similar one just before Christmas. My London was your Gold Coast, however I think I'd probably had a look at holiday destinations over the coming three months to everywhere but London. Decided to await the (hopefully) annual DSC in Feb.

50% Status Credit bonus offers are generally targetted, and happen fairly frequently. While I don't recall getting one last year, I got three in 2017.

Just to add the one benefit over the most recent DSC is this targeted offer is for QF flight numbers rather than QF metal, so opens up a few (maybe hundreds?) more options.

I don't think I have ever been offered a "targeted" SC promotion. Clever on QF's part - as a P1 they probably figure I will just keep booking anyway. I will prove them wrong this year
