I've always been a big fan of Hotelclub.com.au. They've always given me good rates and have a good rewards program. As I use them quite a bit, I'm a "Platinum" member (not very hard to get) and get 7% in "Member Dollars" for each booking I make. There is currently a promotion that doubles this to 14%>
Accor also have a current promo for 40% off for limited dates in Jan & Feb (worldwide).
I just booked 3 nights at the Ibis Bencoolen Singapore for $120 per night including taxes which is a pretty decent rate (they claim, 40% off). With the Hotel Club bonus cash-back ($50) it makes it just over $100 a night.
Not a bad option if anyone is looking for some cheap hotels over the new year period.
