250 Free QFF points on QF app

I recently updated the QF app, but noticed today while looking thought the section called Feeds a box that said "You've found the 250 points."

Then tonight the marketing email arrived which explained. See screenshot below.

My advice:
1. Update the app if you haven't already done so.
2. Scroll through feeds.
3. Claim your 250 points.

Strange. I cannot find feeds anywhere in my app and I just reinstalled it.
When you open the app, tap either your points or SC balance. This opens a new screen. At the top of this screen a menu bar should appear and feeds should be one of the options.

"unfortunately this feature won't work with your version of Android ..." oh well, I can live without the ~$5 worth of points.

You have to go to the little figure of a person on the top right hand side eh?
Click on that, and then feed comes up.
Love my Android!

Edit: bah humbug, can't be done on my current version of my Android.

I received the email three days ago (on Monday 22 May). Had a look through my Feed on the Qantas app at the time and couldn't see the Bonus Points Box for the life of me. Scrolled through three or four times and would swear it wasn't there. Went back just now and found it in 2 seconds flat!

Seems a little strange that it takes Qantas at least three days to send out the same email to all the Frequent Flyer membership. Surely it could be done within a much shorter timeframe - hours rather than days?

But, at any rate, am glad that I finally claimed my points!

I often seem to get emails late - mine only came in last night.
I spent 5 minutes looking for the 250 points, then after finding it looked on AFF only to see Capitan Hallidays short cut directions :rolleyes:

If you've got kids, don't forget to do theirs as well. It all adds up! :)
 
I found me 250 points easily, but hubby's points were not on the feed. (and he also got the email). Will try again later for his.
