Hi all,
I have a room booked 1 night in June 5th which was booked in March as part of the 8,000 bonus point promotion previously offered and is indeed my 3rd stay which will i hope provide the final 4,000 pts into my account (already received 1,000 & 3,000 pts no dramas)

. As there is a new promotion of 10,000 pts for 3 x 2 night stays and a long weekend holiday here in Oz i would now like to make another 2 night booking consecutively for the 6th & 7th June at the SAME HOTEL which would hopefully be classed as 1 of my 3 night stays for 10,000pts promotion. However I am a bit worried that it may be classed as just 1 x 3 night stay even though 2 bookings months apart will have been made

Any one had any dealings as such or could offer words of wisdom would be much appreciated thanks !

I've done similar, generally because I've decided to extend a trip, and they've always been classed as two separate bookings on my account

Although more than once I've had to shift rooms... Ugh.

Thanks for that !:) Don't mind the upheaval if the 2 bookings work !:D

I'm in the same boat...book 1x4 nights and get 5000 points or 2x2 night stays and get 10000 points. Could book restricted rates a day or two apart or I could move between brands in Liverpool UK and see different parts of the city??

I am hoping to attempt a 2 different hotels in 2 different cities on the same night; not sure if this will post or not. I reckon most systems are not sophisticated enough though 'same date' checkin may raise the flags.

I think it may depend upon the Hotel Chain, some may treat it is one stay others may not.
Could be wrong but my understanding is Hilton treat it as one stay.
Interestingly I have 3 consecutive bookings in BNE next week so it will be interesting how Hilton will treat them.

Confirmed. I did this by accident and booked a night in both the Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh Sofitel properties. Checked in to the Hanoi Sofitel and had exec lounge staff amend the HCMC booking without penalty.
