Status credit balance gone weird

Has anyone noticed their accumulated status credit balance has just dropped?

The number of status credits required to retain status has dropped but lifetime is still correct.

well enjoy it. perhaps it is a reduced target as form of status support. you could have stumbled upon status extension lite. When is your membership anniversary?

No, I had attained status and now it says I still have some SC to go.

Although the status level hasn't actually dropped.

It's a mess...my account now shows 794SC at the top of the page, but the "retain P1" progression graph shows 594SC (it should be 694 like it was until today considering that the 100SC from Points Club Plus do not count towards P1). Also, as I mentioned in another thread, the QF SC which have rolled over from last year are not taken into account to reach the 2,700 QF SC needed to requal for P1.

Yes, same.

I have 681 status credits so far this year, but the status activity page says I only have 512.

Edit: I've just had a look, and it seems to have removed the status credits I earned (as a Points Club member) for Classic Flight Rewards. The number of status credits I've earned so far this membership year from Classic Flight Rewards is 169, which is exactly the difference between the amount showing and what I've actually earned this year.

The Qantas website seems to be having major issues generally this morning. You also can't book a flight.

The morning started out with a pretty simple to do list. Book a QF flight. When I searched the flight on Chrome I immediately get the message "500 - that's an error on our end...try reloading the page". Tried again, then tried on Chrome incognito, then tried on Edge. All the same. went off and...

Same here. 240 status credits have been removed from my status credit total.

All my balances are correct except for the section on attain/retain - that's where the glitch is

Indeed! The SC total at the top of the Status Activity page seems correct but the status (re-)qualification value is not taking those earned via classic award travel into account.

The classic award SC transactions are appearing.

Yes, glad I'm not the only one! I have two different status totals on the status activity page! Next to status activity it says 781, but on the tier level line, it says 725 to attain platinum, which is 56 less than the full total, which is the sum of a return award flight I took. So it looks like the QF IT systems are running on electrickery again....

I’ve today lost 290 status credits from the total, but the correct amounts are still in the activity list. I have not had any reward flights this membership year. Very odd.

I'm kind of glad that it's not just award flight credits - the one and only real benefit of points club is award flights counting towards tier attainment - without that I would declare points club a dead duck.

I rang the QFF Service Centre earlier today about something completely unrelated and asked about this. The agent immediately asked "Are you looking at your balance on our website? There's an issue with the tally at the moment but rest assured you have [correct amount] status credits showing on our system here."

So it seems like they definitely know.

It's not just the attain/retain balances that are impacted, my lifetime total has also gone backwards.

In my case the number of missing SC doesn't reflect classic rewards SC.

odd mine seem to be all related to points club, either classic award redemptions or bonus SC from the points club Double SC promo.
