[h=1]IHG Rewards Club 10,000 Bonus Points Per Club InterContinental Stay In Asia-Pacific, Middle East & Africa July 14 – December 31, 2017[/h]Have others signed up for this? Saw it on LoyaltyLobby

for Club room bookings ..wondering how they are going to implement the Ambassador renewal qualification on this ... be keen to know anyone's experiences with points posting for this promo.

I got the offer - although I don't need to renew until the end of the year. As soon as I login to my account the offer and prompt to renew disappears!

Will see how I go....

I also received the offer but my Ambassador renewal is not due until December. I may renew early if I have a stay before then.

It's only possible to renew early by a certain amount of time right... like not 5 months? :p

This might be something I consider for December... though I don't usually travel that time of year.

I got the email a couple of days ago.As I am an absolute newbie with IHG I certainly am tempted.Have my 50 nights booked with SPG so could fit in a couple of ICs.

Excellent planning drron! 50 nights with starwood lined up ..beauty. Yes, this is a very good offer 10K Points ...particularly if you can net some low range properties that have Club Rooms. I am signed up but didn't get the email as my renewal was in March so hoping to slide in the back door and collect points on this one. Also, the Points Breaks list will come out in the next 2 weeks ...a feeding frenzy!

Wonder if you can combine it with the free weekend night certificate. Didn't see much in the way of details regarding that.

Hey NZflygirl,

John from Loyalty Lobby posted a good piece recently on qualifying and non-Qualifying for IHG. This PDF: https://docs.google.com/viewerng/vi...-Qualifying-Non-Qualifying-Rates.pdf&hl=en_US

Shows that you 'should' be fine as the 'paid' night in the BOGO is qualifying so you should get the promotion based on this (as you will also collect points on that paid night).

Out of interest ...when did you first subscribe for AMB? or when did you renew?

I renewed May 26th. Cost 24,000 points, received 5,000 points due to accelerate a 10,000 bonus point voucher so cost 9,000 points - sweet! Very good cost for a free night. First subscribed last year with cash to try it out, probably around May as well and used the free night in Syd with partner - really happy with it so for now have decided to stick with it, especially given the points cost this year. Suspect I'll use this one in Wellington - looks a bit cheaper than Oz.

That LL document is good thanks.

It doesn't say anywhere on my promo that I need to renew it just tells me to book. Ah well I need to book a weekend anyway so if the points come through then great, if not I was going to book anyway.

Edit: Actually Sanctuary Cove and Adelaide look like good value.

I'm considering Sanctuary Cove thanks to its proximity to me (I'm near Movieworld).

Currently just up the road from you, but it doesn't make sense for me to leave one hotel to go and stay in another.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
