hmm... i upgraded my account on 30/11, and i forgot i had a bpay amount scheduled for 2/12 to pay off my last credit card bill. i hope the payment still goes through, it's already been taken out of my bank! is the account number for the platinum a different one to the gold?

email i got sent said ".....you will remain on the annual fee structure that you are currently on. If you do not pay an annual fee on your Citibank Gold Visa, you will not pay an annual fee on the Citibank Platinum card as well."

yeah, i received it, and have received an email from citibank telling me the fee structure remains the same as well. but probably won't bother upgrading, mostly because i'm more worried about some of the comments earlier in the thread to do with rba proposing dismantling the visa honour all...

I emailed them last week about this too, but never received an email back :( Two weeks left to decide whether we want to upgrade :P

Hi, yeah my credit limit is only $7000, so it's not that either! (which I only recently increased from $5000, the minumum limit you can have on gold - does anyone know the minimum on platinum?) Also, in answer to your question, I have the offer letter, no mention in the my offers section though.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I'll upgrade to the free platinum, the offer stands until November anyway, so I have some time to decide.... quite happy with the gold as it is, and not sure if I'll actually use the concierge service... like others I am pretty surprised I got offered the platinum :P

Hi, thanks for the reply… I was thinking more mainland Europe, eg. France The vroam looks like the best one at the moment, covers those countries Europe… though it is a bit more expensive than those UK ones…. Any more suggestions very welcome! C. :)
