No, I see this working fine. Have had this done on both ANZ VISA and AMEX PLAT. If AMEX say it's ok, then make sure they put a note on your account with that effect!

You should call the Canadian visa people, or consulate. They are very helpful, and you don't wait that long on the phone like the US !! I had some friends in Canada while I was there, they did border crossings to the US just to get another visitor visa. That was Jan 2009. Not sure if things...

If only :lol: Funny thing is lady on QF centre told me "since you always have to show ID plus your qantas club card to check in ...." .... In the last 4 years, not once have I been asked to show any ID when checking in on domestic on QF. Only time was on JQ, they asked for DL !!

Opened my wallet today, seems my QP card has gone missing !! :shock: QF sending new one out to me. I asked if they can cancel the cards, they said no. I guess someone would have to know when I'm flying to try and check in as me ... ! Oh well. Wonder if the new one will be ink printed...

As long as it's a QF flight number .. I was in a similar situation at LAX once, I couldn't use the Alaskin Airlines Lounge using QC, because I was on an AS flight. Even though it was codeshare with QF. I just was not on a QF ticket, even though it was an award flight...

Turn off Blue Tooth, Wifi and turn the screen down. Also don't run any intensive video apps (like watching movies). I guess it all depends what you're doing. Using laptop on the plane to write my blogs, and emails gives me several hours of batt life ... the new Mac's have great batteries...
