Both QF & EF seat map were1 2 1 originally but seeing the article about the change I put a seat map alert in EF and got an email a few days ago notifying me of aircraft change. Seat map on EF is now 2 2 2, & my suspicion is QF will update to that soon. Need row 1-5 or there will be tears 😭!

I just called Hobart, they said all 5 rows only available to Chair/P1. Doesn't know exact release date for WP but thinks a week out. WP will get a chance before free for all. Clear as mud...btw mine's a redemption ticket.
