    Lounge Access Help Desk

Once you reach T4, go through immigration and using the shuttle bus, you should get to T1, which is connect to Jewel via underground. Unsure if check out of luggages it required but you are required to do so, there is early luggage drop at Jewel. Unsure if it is possible via T4. After some...

    Lounge Access Help Desk

T1-3 are connected but not T4. There is a shuttle bus within transit to connect T4. Prepare at least 90mins with 3 kids to connect. I will be doing the same in Sept if your flight is after mine. Love to know how you go if you are flying before me and how the laksa taste 😋

    Accorplus dining sucharges

Just a quick update. I stayed at Pullman Hyde Park and charged the meal to the room. I paid it on checkout with eftpos (saving) with no surcharge. The points came in as part of stay.

Hence, I asked if anyone tried paying cash. Also, is the surcharge just the 1.5% for paying by CC, or there are other charges on top for billing to room?

Lounge etiquette - sleeping in lounges

I think that the work desks that are partitioned may allow you to lay your head or a corner area. Just don't snore :)

Qns: Flying Jetstar on Classic Rewards

I have a linked PNR. But with the wait for baggage and recheck in of baggage process, T2 customs. 25 mins for 12.05pm is a big ask. My biggest fear is flight cancellation of JQ563 and trying to rush to JQ7 on JQ565.

Qns: Flying Jetstar on Classic Rewards

Is JQ565 even possible to catch JQ7? 25 mins from T4 to T2 + baggage and customs.

Qns: Flying Jetstar on Classic Rewards

For BNE - MEL - SIN, I got 2.5 hours. Let's see what happens. If I am short of time, I will just buy whatever Jetstar sells. Otherwise, I will do a quick lounge dash whilst in T2. For SIN - MEL - BNE, I realised from the others I can check in early at Jewel and get straight to T1 lounge via the...

Qns: Flying Jetstar on Classic Rewards

Ok. Another tip I never knew. I always thought I needed to cross customs in the Terminal my flight is. I will cross T1 customs use the lounge and factoring in 1.5 hours (7.30pm) to travel from T1 to T4 as I got a family to lug.

Qns: Flying Jetstar on Classic Rewards

Thanks. This gives me hope :) I know Jewel very well and the checked baggage terminals you are talking. Let's hope it goes through without issues. Your MEL -SYD is with Qantas? Mine is still with Jetstar. Wonder if that makes a difference. Also, sounds like you missed your Qantas flight in T1...

Qns: Flying Jetstar on Classic Rewards

Thank you very much for your input. I booked the CR flights today. Hence, I believe it is 30kg, however, recorded as ' - ' (dash) on Jetstar Booking Summary. For BNE - MEL T4 - T2, it will be a rush to collect baggage, clear customs, check baggage in again. But I should have 1 hour before board...

    Jetstar Economy Classic Reward Baggage

I am doing a CR BNE - MEL - SIN and back. It is showing up as 30kg on Qantas but nothing (a dash) on Jetstar Booking summary. Contacted Jetstar and the CSO confirmed it is 30kg.

Qns: Flying Jetstar on Classic Rewards

Hi, I have just booked a classic rewards flight on Jetstar and realised it may not be what I expected in terms of inclusions. Can I be corrected if any of the following is incorrect? Thanks. Details: BNE (D) - MEL (T4 - T2) - SIN (T4) | SIN(T4) - MEL(T2 - T4) - BNE (D) Baggage: All flights on...

Not trying to make this a merchant fee discussion but: "According to Reserve Bank data, the average merchant fee is 0.9% for Visa and Mastercard credit card transactions. Amex fees are on the pricier side, with an average merchant fee sitting at the 1.3% mark as of September 2022" So, 1.5%...

    Accorplus dining sucharges

Let's say 1 point earned per dollar and 1.5% surcharge. This means 0.66 point per cent spent on surcharge. Meaning the normal 8000pt classic rewards domestic will not cut it. A normal Syd to Bne is 8000 pt = $120 surcharge to accrue. The fare is ~$100 less tax. So for this to balance, you need...

Renew Points Club / Points Club Plus - worth it ?

My anni is Sept and I achieved PC in same month in 2022 due to a credit card bonus landing straight after the reset. Intentionally applied for 2 more credit cards for the bonuses every 2 other months to achieve PC+ in April 2023. As I am a lowly bronze, PC+ allowed my family and myself to use...
