Hyatt no doubt is the best hotel program worldwide but not easy for an Aussie to collect points unless you have Chase cards. Not much mid-scale options here in Australia to earn nights on the cheap. Decided it is in the too hard basket :(

Definitely has to be one of those Velocity exclusive cards, I assume they want to block out cards with manual transfers otherwise it would be too easy (e.g. 2000 Rewards points = 1000 Velocity points) and everyone with a rewards CC would be onboard for an easy 30k.

Necrobumping this one and looking at the conditions closely the Platinum Status Challenge with Krisflyer does beat the usual one (10 nights in 6 months vs 16 nights in just less than 4 months). Ofc MB Platinum is where we really start to feel the benefits (Gold is very easy to get these days)...
