Yep the availability seems very poor. I'm trying for bookings a year out in off season and I get that message.

Hertz points now expiring after 12 months!!

FINALLY back in business so to speak. Only place I got joy out of was the Hertz facebook (not the Australia one).

Hertz points now expiring after 12 months!!

Yes, but if Qantas also reduced the 12 months with no notice, applied it retrospectively and didn’t tell anyone. Which even Qantas wouldn’t dare do.

Hertz points now expiring after 12 months!!

(Some of) the points are back after escalating through the US office who at least tried to help. As they don't seem to have access to my points record and haven't received a statement in 3 years I don't have them all back, yet. In the reply email from the Aus team which I don't think was said...

Hertz points now expiring after 12 months!!

So a new update, the Aus team refused to reinstate the points pointing to the T&C that lets them change conditions without notice, and had the temerity to mention being transparent to customers in this message. I contacted Hertz on FB (not the Aus team) and they agreed to a short term extension...

Hertz points now expiring after 12 months!!

I've just had the pleasure of finding out my points are gone, whilst also noticing that the website references 12, 18 and 24 months in different places. Have emailed. Did anyone have any success getting their point reinstated?

Jetstar to boost international flying with new Brisbane Airport partnership

I thought this was MEL and SYD only for some reason. Big shame about the HA flights, those timings were perfect.

Qatar denied extra capacity into Australia

That needs to be corrected but on the flip side Qatar provided flights, at a loss, for Aussies to get home through the pandemic. It shouldn't be a permanent punishment. I don't think this will solve everything but its a start.

Qatar denied extra capacity into Australia

International prices are insane, and this is during a time Qantas is doing large share buy-backs after receiving substantial help during COVID. This should hopefully be overturned.

    Qantas class action

Interesting. VA have the administration excuse (that's what I got fobbed off with), Qantas don't.

"Massive" Qantas 2022 award seat release

Yeah possibly, I searched around 9am. I also looked last week and there was literally nothing outside of economy for months on end. This is from BNE to be clear.

    Future Flight Credits

So looking through the Travel Bank history it looks as though they dropped the full credit in there then removed it 5 days later.

    Future Flight Credits

Yes! Thanks :) You've provided more clarity than Virgin.

    Future Flight Credits

I'm very confused, still awaiting my email for the conditional credit but I've had $129 dropped into my TravelBank randomly too (out of $3.5k credit). If they're restricting what you can spend this on that's another kick in the teeth.
