Thanks Richard, I always double check the SC's to maximise the $/point since doing the DSC's these past 3-4 years. Never not checked and made sure we are on Q tin as well. This year I see less SC's, so naturally believe Q have moved the goal posts without me knowing.

Hi Capt' thanks for your response. I just checked Melb/Syd/Well and Q is providing at best '90' SC's last year this was '125' (40 to Syd and 85 Syd to Well leg). Again, I'm finding my "goto's" are no longer appealing.... Are you saying I should book separate flights now Melb/Bris for '60'...

I see that Q no longer provide stopovers with full (separate flight) 'SC' value. For example Melb/Bris/Cairns was 60+60 SCs now only '100'! Business prices have increased dramatically too from 2023 and 2022, I notice.

I'm taking a longer term view. It may well be chasing SC's now and some years in the making (14,000 SC's for GOLD lifetime for example) however, longer term benefits during retirement for example is another benefit of chasing and paying for status now (and accumulating towards lifetime) during...

Mighty thx to all for trumping in. Nothing bad (like Q metal no longer flying to Tassie!) but, wait for a ('the') announcement confirming the Border is open officially (1st Dec 🤞) and hopefully we'll see QF flights on Q metal reinstated from that date.

Just noticed no Q metal flights to/from Melb/Hobart before Christmas. Last week there were 2 each day. All flights now Jetstar metal. Have I missed something that's happened?
