As Gold status, she should have been able to access the EK lounge, but there might need to have been a chat about access for your son. And I heartedly agree with Fiona's comments to check their return seats with the EK site or App. So many times have I seen different reserved seats being shown...

She can be with you for screening, boarding and in the lounge.

My sister lives under the final approach into QPG and lives off old Airport Road. But that is more Kallang related than Paya Lebar.

EK always come over to say Hi and greet me as a Qantas Gold FF when travelling in Economy. QF do this once in a blue moon.. Used to happen more often and the FA would get an early beer in before drinks service started...

Thanks Everyone. Ended up booking out on EK with QF numbers and back on QF10. Flex fare too, so have a PE upgrade requested for MEL-PER leg. When booking seats was the highest load I have ever seen on EK A380, with no window seats available between MEL and LHR.

QF and EK availability was the main challenge. I could get the UK no problems, but getting home again was the issue.

Hi All, It has been a while since I last flew on EK409. What time does checkin open early morning? And what time does the airport open? I have some vague memory of being able to check in at 3:15am, but then the security not opening until 4am. Thanks for looking.

Magically the approval for the trip and availability for the return flight both appeared withing 20 minutes of each other, albeit at 2am!! So all good!! Thanks as always.

So is it only bald when the lines vanish? And how many landings between replacements? Just for interest. :-)

Just log into EK site, should all work fine and reconise your status. This has been the same for me many times.
