Does it work if you fly one way from Indonesia to Australia, or does it have to be from Australia?

Article: What I Value Most About Qantas Platinum Status

I've been platinum for years, but when phoning call centres continue to be put through to non-competent off-shore centres. So being platinum hasn't been of much benefit in this regard

They're English cougher spaniels. A joy to have and be around 1672105886 We have them quite severely clipped as we live in the country, so they tend to look a bit springer-like

What little-known airline pleasantly surprised you?

Flew Y (well, I was young and a back-packer at the time!) With Ward Air from Gatwick to Toronto in the early 80s. It was certainly a stand-out among Y classes....food served on china and wine in a "glass". I was over the moon at the time!

    Nightmares at LHR

Have got my suitcase back on exiting BER. Bags have now made it to SIN. Yey!

    Nightmares at LHR

Well, now in Berlin, having flown Finnair ARN to BER via HEL. Once again, no bags! However, Finnair is keeping me well informed as to where they are, unlike the poor situation with lost bags at LHR with BA. Actually, BA is still saying on the tracking that my bags are still reroute, despite...

    Nightmares at LHR

Well, my BA flight from T3 yesterday looked as though it was going to leave on time. Then the captain realised that on the flight in tge 320 had received bird damage ( poor bird, but probably quick death). So we waited to get the green light from airbus as to whether to take off. A mere 2 hours...

    Nightmares at LHR

Well, good news. My luggage arrived in Gothenburg before me. The powers that be between LHR and BA worked in the end. Pleasantly surprised

    Nightmares at LHR

My tracking shows my bags that "did not arrive" at T5 LHR will arrive in Gothenburg before I do! Seems that the BA courier service is better than their customer service airport service

    Nightmares at LHR

Came from Olbia, Sardinia. Awful experience for anyone on their first flight to London. It would put you off coming here for life! So, now my short trip in London will be shopping for clothes and toiletries...my pet hate! Hopefully my bags will arrive in Gothenburg..

    Nightmares at LHR

Currently waiting for luggage at terminal 5 Heathrow. Been here 3 hours. Announcements say to leave the airport and put in a request on line at BA. Luggage said to arrive in about 2 days. Not great, as I am only in London for 2 days. What a joke!

What do you want from airport lounges?

Well, I'm in the Al Mourjan lounge at the moment. All good, except for the wait for a shower. Definitely essential in a transit airport lounge.
