I am up for a new carry on suitcase. Looking at my old favourite Samsonite but open to other options. Any suggestions, that are airline compliant, super light, easy access to laptop, can carry enough clothes for a few days, tough, wheels work etc.

Completely agree, not an apple to apples comparison in any way. Merely curiosity of what is offered between the three. Anyone a Solitaire Singapore Flyer? What did you get from them for Christmas?

Anyone also a Virgin Platinum? Did you get anything? Anyone a PPS Krisflyer? Did you get anything from them? I am all three and did not get anything from Virgin or Singapore Airlines. Only Alan Joyce and P1came through this year.

Superb service. Great central location (Orchard), lots of good eating places nearby, gym, simplicity of check in/out, good breakfast offering, comfortable beds, clean and great shower water pressure!

I spend a lot of time in Singapore and tend to stay at the same few hotels, Swissotel, Fairmont, Mandarin Orchard and Shangri-La. Does anyone have any other suggestions for a five star property that ticks all the business travel boxes?

Genuine Quest: Those that stand up as soon as they can after the plane lands, why? Can someone please explain. Maybe I am missing something. The same goes with people that don’t use headphones. Why?
