Twice in one North America trip passengers sitting in my seat. Booked 2A on one domestic flight on Alaska Airlines the other was seat 1A on Hawaiian Airlines.

With all these changes, for me it’s probably better to concentrate on collecting and point hacking more $AUD, which seems to be accepted by more carriers and allowing for conversions. Flight availability with $AUD is also amazing. I do like this change as it is better than ‘points plus pay’...

The arancini was a highlight on my last flight, crunchy and warm.

Lifetime bronze QFF member here. Booking separately had worked for me on one occasion the other it failed. These were J seats. I would suggest using a tool like ExpertFlyer to check how many award seats are available. The instance where it worked for me, it was most likely 2+seats available...

A contributor to the issues is most likely the aging fleet. Newer planes are slowly on the way as most here are aware.

Just saw the below and a QantasLink has turned around due to engine failure. Wanting to know is this a compounding effect of maintenance compromises or is their just more articles getting out on anything that goes wrong at Qantas...
