My newbie fail: Signing up to CommBank Diamond Awards for FF points. Where to now?

Thanks for your reply. Re- the churn cycle, from a points acquisition point of view, should I be signing up to - and holding - as many cards as possible at any one time? What I'm trying to ask is what is the typical card holding and application cycle when one is focussed on earning and...

My newbie fail: Signing up to CommBank Diamond Awards for FF points. Where to now?

As my title says, I made the rookie mistake nearly a year ago of signing up to Commbank's Diamond Awards Visa with the sole intention of racking up flyer points. I did so without any forethought or preparatory research and only now have come to the realisation that I could've been earning double...

I just had a very straightforward and hassle-free experience booking LGW-JFK via the Norwegian Air UK website. Everything from navigation, choice selection and payment checkout was seamless and so easy to follow. Which prompts me to ask what are your favourite airline booking websites to use...

Flying LON to NYC one way: Should I just buy Return ticket instead?

@dajop: At the moment TAP is the only one with realistic one way options we could go with. All other airlines showing up on ticketing search engines are cost prohibitive. The last sentence in your reply makes me think we should just buy a return fare and be done with it.

Flying LON to NYC one way: Should I just buy Return ticket instead?

Total rookie question here; would greatly appreciate any advice on my dilemma. We need to fly from London to New York one way, but all the one way options are either too expensive or too long in duration. Should I just buy a standard London-NY return ticket instead (of which there are plentiful...

Hello everyone my username is homeister and I'm from Sydney. My wife and I are complete FF newbies and to be honest, our current combined QFF points balance of approximately 180,000pts is probably chickenfeed compared to the majority of members here and not enough to use in any meaningful way...
