    Re: Qantas hasn’t been sending out new bag tags for the past two years. I received one last week. The old one had started to break down with pieces of plastic falling off. It took several weeks to sort out and arrive. You can only order one per year.

    My experience is that the scanner can read tags inside your bag, and it gets 'confused'. A few years ago I had a tagged bag inside a tagged bag and the scanner couldn't cope. The attendant came over and asked if I had another tag inside the bag and I had to remove it before the scanner would...
