Card Promotions ANZ Frequent Flyer Platinum: 75,000 QFF points. $0 fee.

I met the spend requirement before my 2nd statement, I received my statement a few days ago and the points hit the same time the staetment did. Yay good job ANZ in showing us that it doesn't need to be a difficult to get our bonus points (same goes to citibank actually)

Card Promotions ANZ Frequent Flyer Platinum: 75,000 QFF points. $0 fee.

OH no that sucks! I'll give them a couple more days then. Fingers crossed I get lucky, I've had so many ANZ cards in the past I wish they took my timely repayments into account but sadly that doesn't help! Post updated: I tried to call them 10 minutes ago but had to hang up as I had stuff to do...

Card Promotions ANZ Frequent Flyer Platinum: 75,000 QFF points. $0 fee.

I only closed my ANZ rewards traveller card in October, that's not a frequent flyer card is it? As it says 'Not available where you currently hold, or have closed, an ANZ Frequent Flyer credit card within the previous 12 months.'

This strategy sounds interesting. Can you elaborate more? you've taken money from the card to park in your offset? and you're planning to do it for 15 months? Why is there no credit hit?

speaking of priority pass lounges, i'm ready to close the card but haven't used any of the lounge passes. Sounds like i have to forego the passes if i haven't used them? It's not like I can get e / physical passes before hand right? Thanks!

Advice on limits for applications, and more.

I've always been asked for bank statements, at least in the last year or so. They will give you the option to upload OR provide your internet banking details (you can nominate one) that shows your pay being deposited (generally transactions over 2 months) into that account.

St George Ampliy Signature card. 100,000 Amplify points. NO FEE!

Was this something they recently added? I had signed up in Dec thinking I could hit the 12k minimum spend easy by paying off my car (which I did) . Car loan sounds like it could be a BPAY type transaction?

Card Promotions Citibank Signature Qantas 150,000 points

I was really hesitant to apply for this card but gave it a go after reading the now more positive comments about the process. Couldn't agree more! applied 3rd Dec late at night, approved 5th Dec. No further verification was requested for. Card received about a week later. Hit my minimum spend...

Advice on limits for applications, and more.

I was on the same boat. Had never had rejections till mid last year. Since then I have had ANZ (had always had cards with them), Bankwest, St george reject my applications. At the time of application I only had one CC which was tied to my homeloan (10k limit) I couldn't understand as i thought...

this is so bizarre. Have you had any luck with other cards lately? I got knocked back for st george earlier in the year too.

Bankwest Qantas World MC 90k bonus, $6k spend in 3 months, $135 first year annual fee, exp 31 August 2019

i was declined for this card. It's getting a bit devastating. I haven't been able to collect any bonus points from card sign up this year. I managed to get approved for 3 cards last year (2 of them closed now) really easily. Is it my car loan? High mortgage I'm thinking might affect my chances...

Bankwest Qantas World MC 90k bonus, $6k spend in 3 months, $135 first year annual fee, exp 31 August 2019

Sounds like it, i feel like my chances of being declined for a card (was declined during a recent st george application :() than a home loan is higher.

Bankwest Qantas World MC 90k bonus, $6k spend in 3 months, $135 first year annual fee, exp 31 August 2019

Is it better to half the mortgage amount? I figure that they'd see it in the bank statement anyway so I wouldn't be able to get away with reporting any less than what I pay. Interesting to hear a couple of people here applying for 2 cards at the same time. Are there more of you who do this...
