That's about right. 2 cards per 90 days as far as I know. This does not include charge cards, so you can apply for 2 credit cards and as many charge cards you want in a 90 days period. Depending on your reported income, credit score and balances on your current AmEx cards of course.

I don't think you can transfer AU MR points to Hilton through your US Amex directly if that's what you mean. AFAIK, I don't think you can use a referral link through GT. After you have your FICO score generated, you should be able to use referral links to apply for a card (I think you probably need an ITIN or SSN as well then)

Yeah C1 is very stingy with their approvals, and according to their website you'd need "Excellent" credit which means at least 3 years of history with multiple trade lines to get their venture cards. You can certainly try, but use their pre-approval tool first, if you don't see any venture cards...

You might need to wait for a couple months after you get your first Fico on AmEx. Fico score usually takes at least 6 months (if not more) to generate.
