I’ve been locked out for 24hrs for requesting the OTP too many times. And the ironic thing is to contact their support team for assistance via live chat you need to be logged in (which requires the OTP to be entered 🤦🏻‍♂️)

Same here, I can't login to check. Tried logging in via both the app and browser and I am not receiving the OTP via SMS to my phone. I've received OTPs before to my phone so I know my number is definitely correct on their system.

As far as I can tell I wont be eligible to gift gold because you have to be already a platinum member and then hit 1,300 SCs (800 for renewal + 500 extra). So even if I accumulate the 1,300 SCs required I still have to wait one year until the renewal period.

Oh and in regard to lounge access with kids. Singapore Airline count kids as part of your guest allowance. Travelling with VA Gold on SA you are only allowed 1 guest.
