Have you had to change/cancel travel due to COVID-19 (involuntarily or voluntarily)?

Actually booked MEL-HKT RT around end of Feb. I asked JQ, they just refunded me full airfare. Friends of mine got SYD-SIN-HKT on Scoot and HKT-KUL-AVV(Melbourne Avalon) on AirAsia with nothing refund back yet.

    Virgin Australia Velocity Platinum Club

67 sectors were indeed great efforts... I managed to get mine through double status credits for a trip to U.S. and a few domestic trips with the better half (family pooling is a constant double status offer to me), which means I actually only flew around eight to nine sectors in total to get it...

What takes people from Qantas ?

This is indeed true and that's why a lot of people stay with Qantas if they haven't achieved LFF yet. However, if they did get LFF, lifetime SkyTeam status is worth chasing isn't it, providing lifetime *A is way harder? Also, the chances of VA joining SkyTeam is no less than *A, given NZ and VA...

What takes people from Qantas ?

For the frequent flyer program, I just want to add that there are so many different choices. For VA velocity members, you get virgin domestic and VS UK lounges, DL lounges in North America, SQ lounges in Singapore and EY lounges in most big cities, a few HU lounges in China. For SQ krisflyers...

Star Alliance Gold via Asiana club.

If you want status as *G, go for TK, even easier than OZ I believe. If you travel with family, Egyptair's family pooling is way faster...

So you actually see the previous 'disappeared' points in the ascent program now? Just wondering since I am about to link these two cards but a lot of ppl reporting disappearing existed points.

Hainan Airlines (HU) OZ-China 30 Times

\ This is actually the cheapest one, others are double the price. They (HU) surely lack cash nowadays. I've flown HU since 2016... They actually only have Australia to China routes, no other countries. Chances are you can take connecting flights from other countries but I guess would be more...

Hainan Airlines (HU) OZ-China 30 Times

It's actually lower value than this, since you can very often buy one round trip business class for AUD 2,000- 2,500.

Flybuys subscription service trial: "Flybuys Max"

Given the price of coles express is already higher than Caltex, given the 10x points only apply to fresh produce in Coles. I'd stick with 5% cashrewards with woolies. Plus, $10 monthly fee, and if you buy $100 products you get 100 woolies points for $95, but for coles you get 100 points for $100.
