Is this the new norm? [Qantaslink Cabin crew won't ask passengers not to recline during meal service]

I have the opposite, if I recline I end up with back pain. I also need to not slouch so sit quite upright, which sucks when anyone in front reclines as It often means I can no longer see the screen.

update, the flights that were lost were CDG - HKG - PER I never heard back from the email, many many phone calls later and little progress I finally got an email saying the CDG - HKG was cancelled and the HKG -PER was ticketed but on a different day. More Qantas calls and no progress so I...

QFF Award CX flight confirmed and then wait listed, what are my next steps?

Looks like Qantas requested a different date than the original flight to be reinstated... I can't imagine Cathay Pacific is going to reinstate a flight on the wrong date... Still haven't heard back from anyone on the email.

QFF Award CX flight confirmed and then wait listed, what are my next steps?

My wife had her CX flight dropped from her OWA booking on Friday - ticketed months ago - Qantas says due to a CX time change and CX not putting her back in, request to reinstate was sent to CX, now it shows waitlisted on her booking... is this progress? or just something qantas puts on its...

Qantas Promises to Fix Ongoing Reward Flight Ticketing Failures

So is the email actually working for people? Third time on this booking that we have had flights dropped by Qantas... been on the phone (mostly on hold) all day, so far the first person I talked to said they think they can fix it but after being on hold for an hour call was disconnected. Only...

    OWA "Schedule Change"

Haha, I ended up doing almost the exact same thing today, significant changes that aren't as suitable, but at least we have tickets for our flights again - The person I eventually got hold of that was able to help was actually pretty great - we are also fairly lucky that we could change dates...

"oneworld" award (132.4K/249.6K/318K/455K) Planning - The Definitive Thread

Sure, we will spend a few days in Vladivostok, then taking the train across to Moscow, a couple stops along the way in Ulan Ude, Irkutsk and Kazan. We will spend about 5-6 days in both Moscow and St Petersburg, catch a train to Tallinn for a couple days and then catch the ferry to Helsinki...

"oneworld" award (132.4K/249.6K/318K/455K) Planning - The Definitive Thread

A question I had that may get lost in an earlier post, I understand that I can have two layovers (less than 24 hrs) and 1 stop over (more than 24 hours) at a particular city. When traveling to that city overland does that count as the longer or shorter stop? edit... after playing around with...

We drove from London to Mongolia via the Caucasus and the Stan's a few years back and had a great time, and decided its time to do the "return" journey (well as far as helsinki) via Russia on the train. Looking forward to it.

Been having all sorts of struggles finding a route into the balkans due to AY's and S7's married segments, basically given up and are travelling from Saint Petersburg to Helsinki on our own dime. First half of the ticket finalised this morning. So far we have PER-HKG-NRT on CX, 23:45 hour...

So we are 1 week out from booking our first legs... but have come up with a small snag, the better half is up for a new position that may require leaving the trip early and returning to Australia. We would know well before the first leg, so should be able to change flights accordingly. So my...

Speaking of SIN, I know starting the trip in Hong Kong or Manila significantly reduces the overall fees and charges, Is this also the case with Singapore?

Thanks for the info, i have actually found pretty good availability on the IB direct from MAD to BOG usually with multiple seats available, and that is probably the smart way to go, not sure what their A340 is like... and yes not so much on the MIA-Bog route... I assume you mean CUN can have...
