Yep same thought all avenues for me. I might try ring up again and see if i get a different result. I thought it was due to flying with infants and being booked in a bassinet seat, but the last agent I talked to was adamant it was due to it being a VA booking so who knows.

Yes its a VA redemption on SQ. Maybe I didn't make that clear. But we are in the VA redemption thread.

We have been ticketed. I can see my seats on the SQ website but all (except mine) are greyed out. A dummy booking confirms there is still seats available.

Is there a way to select your seats on SQ redemption bookings? I can't via either Singapore Air website, VA Website or either call centres.

It does seem a bit odd that Qantas is the thing in common with both of these events. Does this sort of thing happen on other airlines?

Has anyone been able to change their seats for their new flight? mine has been given a EK5023 flight number, and doesn't let me select my seat. With my EK Booking it is showing as Confirmed, but not ticketed.

Just received an email from Qantas saying that some changes have been made to my booking, and that I should ring Qantas at my earliest convenience. I was booked onto QF23 the following day - so about 20hrs layover in Sydney - YAY... Rang Qantas and was told that they had received instructions...
