Two times I've been upgraded from J to F has been from MEL (but as a solo traveller). YMMV.

Unfortunately they're all EK metal flights, so it wouldn't be DSC for outbound. It would only have been applicable to the inbound QF metal flights. Thanks tho.

Booking a multistop in J for two people. Mrs smarm would like an overnight in DXB before heading off to MLA (Malta). Looking on the QF site, I can't get the DXB-MLA flight to come up with an QF flight number (only EK). Looking around momondo I can get wotif to bring up the same set of flights...

Interesting. We're on the same flight, same class. We'd selected Row 2 a while ago, and I've just checked. Our seats haven't changed at all. Both tickets purchased together however. Just checking the seating map atm, 3D, F only seats that appear open to me (SG)
