I've been searching the QF website for a business class option and there doesn't seem to be one. All I am offered on the Mel-Per route is Red-e-deal, Flex and Prem Economy Saver (plus reward options). Am I doing something wrong because Syd-Per shows business class options, but not Mel-Per.

I received a full refund to my CC. Took all of two minutes and the agent suggested refund versus pushing for travel bank. This was Plat line though.

Yes, but how much of a change constitutes a right to a refund? Purchasing an afternoon flight and getting stuck on a morning flight due to VA cancelling is VA's fault not my fault.

I've had a significant schedule change on a Syd-Per flight from 1:45pm to 9:15am which I am unable to make (going QF instead). Can I get a refund on a non-refundable ticket or is the current Travel Bank credit my only option?

Don't forget to use up your 60 Qcredits regardless of the status extension. They are good until June 2022. You can buy a one-way economy fare to anywhere in Europe and upgrade to business class. $1030 for business class to Rome for me.

Apparently reservations cannot fix the bid for upgrade problem. So no extra money for you Virgin Australia!

Definitely 737-800 with biz as one in our party booked J. I haven’t looked at a points upgrade as all my points were transferred to Singapore Airlines due to the bankruptcy.

I just tried to bid for upgrade with an Elevate fare and it was deemed ineligible. I’ve never had any fare not eligible for a bid for upgrade with Virgin before. Is there some new policy that only Freedom fares are eligible? This is for a flight from KNX-PER.

There is nothing Per-Akl after September 5th in any class through end of schedule. In case anyone was considering Qantas-nothing from Perth to NZ until Jan 2022 either. The QF availability disappeared in the last few weeks (looking at AA awards) too.

You get a dessert in a box on the longer transcon flights plus the lindt chocolate. They also gave us ice cream towards the end of the flight on BNE-PER last week (plus more lindt chocs).

The bread was was warmed up by the head FA! Very proactive. I’ve had this Perth based crew twice in two weeks and they are excellent.
