Lounge access Brisbane before Qatar Flight

Ah, I misunderstood, thought that the QF international lounge might be open/an option. Looks like its PP for me (which SG gave me access to in March). Given the lack of any other options seems like it might be wise to book PP?

So So I'm flying out of BNE in J on QR and have QR Platinum, any chance I can access the QF lounge, at least until it closes at 9PM (Sunday in July)?? If not, other than PP is anything open in BNE intl at that time?

SQ Lounge at BNE closed - any alternative offered? [Jul 22 - now open for SQ flights]

Hi, I'm flying out of BNE on SG this evening in business, I've just learned that the SilverKris lounge is still closed here, does anyone know if SG are offering an alternative, I read a comment elsewhere that the Plaza Premium would be offered but it stated only Tue, Thurs, Fri and Sat, today is...

    VA2.0 International Partners

Any thoughts on if VA are going to allow Travelbank for Long Haul? This is after all how I got the TravelBank credit in the first place.

    VA2.0 International Partners

Just looked at LHR-BNE on Etihad, one way in April, 332,000 points +tax. Isn't that about double the points it used to be?

    Seating Availability/Allocation/Configuration Help Desk

So now the borders are opening I thought I'd get in quick and book for a long-awaited trip to see friends and family back in the UK around Easter 2022. I'm planning to head to the Melbourne F1 GP in April then straight off to London (evening after the race) and managed to get a business reward...

I got that too, hence the question, but it doesn't indicate if I can use points/FFC to pay?

I need to "book one sector" by March 28th to keep Platinum, can this be paid for with FFC and/or points?

Yeah agree, if I didn't have so much FFC I probably wouldn't pay for J at this level.

KrisFlyer 15% Transfer Bonus! [Offer Extended to Jan 16th 2021]

Glad I found this, I have approx 110,000 miles to transfer so an extra 16,500KF miles will come in very handy, when eventually I get to use them for a J class flight to Europe.

Update on VA Lounges? [BNE/SYD/MEL/PER/OOL/ADL/CBR now open]

Was in the BNE lounge last Sunday morning. Limited food options (bowl of muesli or a muffin) but at least the coffee bar was in full swing.

Ah nuts, we came back from CNS on Saturday!

    VA status extensions

I just came back from BNE-CNS-BNE, however it was a free flight with my Amex. I'm guessing this wouldn't count as an eligible flight? It was good to be back in the BNE lounge, even though breakfast was very limited.

Update on VA Lounges? [BNE/SYD/MEL/PER/OOL/ADL/CBR now open]

Has anyone been in the BNE lounge yet? I'm flying up to CNS tomorrow and wonder if its worth arriving early and if they'll be serving anything for breakfast.

Bain Capital takes Control of Virgin Australia

Me too, but then I got refunded for a cancelled J flight to the UK and more points landed in my VA account after the KF transfer closed, so it looks like they're almost useless now.
