Considering QF and Optus have a such a strong partnership with bonus points etc. I'd be surprised if they didn't use Optus for their SMS 2FA. We use a separate SMS messaging system here at work and they've also said they are down for all AU customers.

Interesting. I got this email(s) yesterday and thought it had to do with the multiple enquiries I sent through for my PayPal auto renewal not showing up on the forums (still showing ads etc) But seems everyone on PayPal got it. And I'm still showing ads. 😂

FYI for those playing at home - called support this morning. Reason points weren't deducted was because I was quoted the wrong amount of points for the reward tickets (??) so the ticket wasn't finalised. Lovely lady from NZ fixed it all within about 10min & confirmed it's off with ticketing now.

So taking the 30% bonus points into account... would it be better to transfer 180k ANZ Rewards into VA, then transfer them into SQ? Or go straight to SQ from ANZ Rewards?

So if I read this right - if I make a booking before March 30th, and change that booking to somewhere else at another date but still fly before 28/2/22 I'd still get the DSC ? Or am I understanding that wrong?
