Same here... I'll qualify for QF platinum outright after my next two flights to Jakarta in early January, but like others here was going slum it in the business lounge… not anymore

Agreed.. I can't tell you how many times I've had to wait coming back from LA or Jakarta for one to free up..

I wouldn’t think so given how much QR has been paying out with us accessing the first lounge in both Melbourne and Sydney. I’m sure they’d be bleeding money and some analyst in QR would be looking at it for sure…

Can’t be done locally… you need to fly on a QR flight for credits

Email received today for a flight on the 22nd of this month.. Stated metal change to a 787 and that my seat may change as a result.. I’ll be disappointed if I get downgraded to Y from PE after paying $9,800 return to the east coast of the US.

Can confirm the same as edge I was able to get into the first lounge in Sydney with no issues. Had breakfast and lunch in the lounge before leaving for Jakarta.. Salt-N-Pepa squid was great
