    What is Qantas playing at?

UPDATE: Hubby made it back to HBA, with his bag that had a holiday without him in London, and with a lot less drama than the outgoing trip. In addition, Qantas customer services rang yesterday. They fudged the bumping issue out of HBA airport by citing ‘fuel and safety’! Hubby pushed the lady...

    What is Qantas playing at?

Qantas lost my husband’s bag between Hobart and Sydney and said it would meet him in London. Only it didn’t turn up in London for five days!

    What is Qantas playing at?

Hallelujah - his luggage has turned up in London (two days after he left for Glasgow) but at least it is with family.

    What is Qantas playing at?

Yes, he finally made it - sadly, the bag didn’t and no-one has any idea where it is. They did the same to another passenger but managed to reunite him with his bag in London. So it looks like my husband’s is lost for good now.

    What is Qantas playing at?

Actually, I don’t agree. I think they know exactly what they are doing and staff know what they have to do and say.

    What is Qantas playing at?

Qantas would not do anything, so he ended up on the flight via Bangkok. Having left home on Monday morning at 10am, he is yet to arrive in the UK. He still has no luggage. Acceptable? Well, the only option if he did not pay the extra for QF1 was to take the option they gave him, or cancel his...

    What is Qantas playing at?

Although Easyjet stranded thousands of passengers in Europe this past weekend. But providing no service is probably more ethical than providing you half the service you paid for 😬

    What is Qantas playing at?

That is not ethical behaviour. No other industry would get away with selling a product and then delivering an inferior product to what has been paid for.

    What is Qantas playing at?

No joy I’m afraid. They were happy to sell him an economy seat on QF1 today for an additional $3000. This seems ludicrous to me since they changed his routing from QF9 to QF1 in the first place .

    What is Qantas playing at?

My husband is heading to the UK from Tasmania - booked Hba-Mel-Per-LHR for 7 June and paid extra $180 for exit seat as he is 6’4” tall. Received email confirming his preferred exit row seat. Checking in on 6 June, he is allocated a seat three rows back (non-exit row). Two hours on the phone to...
