I recently tried Lloyd brothers sparkling shiraz and Ekhidna sparkling shiraz. Really enjoyed them both - had to buy more. Both out of Mclaren Vale.

Some varying reviews on the 08 meshach though - huon hooke 91, halliday 95 and mattinson 96. Still i guess its not a bad bonus to grab the other 5 bottles if the grant burge is all you want.

Have you tried it? At that price I think it must be worth the plunge. At worst it will be a cheap quaffer? I think I have talked myself into it ;)

Couldn't agree more MadMick10. Very hard to go past the paringa. Also worth looking at Kooyong Massale and the Nanny Goat, albert_ang. Sorry Ive got no idea how to tag other members.

Any ideas on the mof_ secret deal pinot from adelaide hills? Thought it may be Mount Lofty old pupmshed lenswood pinot. The price and halliday rating match but not the alcohol.

They seem to offer it every 3-4 months. I believe it is a woolies exclusive wine. A very big fruit driven shiraz which many may find over the top. I enjoy it though and like to get some each year. Besides, who doesn't enjoy opening a magnum?
