AirBNB - Share your experiences here

That's a shame @LostRedditor, have you contacted the Airbnb HQ ? They might be able to find a similar place (or better) in some cases. I have found them co-operative when I have had issues. I agree that prices when cleaning fees that the host imposes are added in, the costs are often...

Do you carry your passport when out and about when on holidays?

No, too much risk of it being damaged, lost, stolen if taken out with me every day. I leave it in the safe in the hotel room.

On a wander out yonder. Boulder near Kalgoorlie. ... Glory days long gone. I had to photograph the facades, as the streetscape was depressing.

Yes Wave Rock, our mini Ayers Rock/ Uluru. Wonderful views from the top. The town of Hyden food and beverage services and the surrounding accomodation was lacking but nearby Corrigin was a pleasant surprise. Great Farm stay B and B and a couple of nice cafes with home made food that don't close...

Predictions of when international flights may resume/bans lifted

Good choice @jb747 - There are some lovely towns in country Victoria to visit. Can recommend Clunes, Creswick, Maldon. Castlemaine and Beechworth. Just make sure you get into shops, cafes, museums etc before 3pm - as like WA country towns everything except the pub/s seem to close up early.

Are they still taking your order for breakfast the night before - then shoving it on a tray through the hatch of your “bridal suite unit” early the next morning ?

Where would you be now ... ?

I am from Plymouth @drron. ...trying to guess which village you mean. Ruled out Happy bottom or Scratchy Bottom in Dorset. Ruled out Minions or Brown Willy and Mousehole in Cornwall. Guessing it’s coughstone, Paignton, or Beer in Devon ? 😀

I think you will be fine with that date. We only have 3 active cases and none are in hospital. If we keep on going like this I think he will lift border restrictions so that WA can capture some of the winter tourism season.. although they may not let in anyone from the ‘naughty’ states !! 😀

    Wildflowers in WA in spring

Lots of info on the WA Tourism site about planning your trip. Starts in the north of the state from June then extends right down the South West areas around Mount Barker, Albany and Esperance. Also not to be missed is the Wildflower display in Kings Park, Perth in September.
