    Looked at ekit before I went and not sure why you would use their service and pay a high flagfall and pay in US$. USed BackChats GlobalSIM - Aussie based, AU$ and no flagfalls. Also free to receive calls throughout Europe. Worked great for me and saved a fortune

    Used BackChat's Globalsim instead of mobile roaming in Europe recently and it was fantastic. Had everything before I went, it worked all over and was easy to top up. In Europe was free to receive calls and cheap to call and text back home. Definitely recommend. Also, Aussie based so no problem...

    Post-paid GSM SIM in San Francisco

    We have trialed pre-paid simcards in USA but there is a big catch. As soon as you leave the state were it is registered you are now roaming nationally within the US and you call costs to make and receive calls are nearly as much as normal roaming!     Japan Roaming and nice Hyatt hotels

    Our company has had very poor results using mobile roaming in Japan. The 3G coverage is not as good as the other Japanese networks and most mobiles don't seem to work there. We used to rent phones at the airport in Japan but have recently starting getting them before we leave from a company here...
