    We're flying J TLS - LAS on BA ticket. I assume that BA is responsible for transit from LHR (arrive 07:35) to LGW (depart 11:50). Anyone experienced this? Any advice?

    We did this trip last year; BNE SFO HEL MXP TLS MRS LHR KEF HEL SVO NRT BNE over 10 weeks. Finnair were very good. HEL being upgraded. All intermediate flights were OW (usually BA) on pts. MRS LHR was cancelled. Repercussions with BA continuing.

    Amex & hire car excess

    I use my Amex platinum card for our travel insurance. However, it doesn't cover hire car excess. To cover this, I use Worldwide Insurance - worldwideinsure.com. Do any members have better suggestions?
