I use Uber black . or book a car service. But direct not through qantas.
A reputable company , they will have backup cars if something goes wrong.
and you only have to deal direct , not through a booking agent (qantas)
Sorry to hear the trouble. Did the car service people ever explain why they never turned up?
This is why I leave for airport so much earlier . Leave room for error .
With a bit more time your options would have been much more.
It’s always a stress when booking Uber black or car services for...
She said it should have been. And that maybe wrong sign was put out. Not quite sure what really happened. As 4:20 when i couldn't get in, I walked back over to a cafe and never went back to check.
How ever I am flying to Sydney again in July for a security show. And once again I have the first...
So had one of those first world problems . First flight out of Perth to Sydney.
Previously messaged and got confirmation the Lounge was open an hour before first flight.
Being 4:15am.
How ever when I arrived, Qantas Club had a sign that stated
opens at 6am and to goto Business lounge. Go to...
My experience is , always use uber black , this gets you a nice car , professional person, and generally a company rather than a private person. Haven't used it in Singapore but used it all over Australia with no problems .
There has to be better solutions than to split up the family.
There is no way on earth I would want to send my wife and daughter, or even the wife on another flight
just to get business class.
why do they have to make it so hard. 363 days what a long time to book ahead too.
has anyone had...
I wouldn't have minded the fee , if it was only charged once for the booking.
I understand it's $7 domestic and $30 international now. But to charge it per ticket,
and call it a credit card fee, is cough. Considering it was a single transaction.
I am guessing it's just a way to make some money...
Just booked tickets for Perth To Singapore With Qantas,
My self wife and 2 yr old. We got charged $30 per person Credit card fee.
it's probably standard, but I thought it seemed a bit high when the credit card was only used for 1 transaction for the entire booking.
$90 seems crazy. guessing...
oh got you.. right , That does change everything.
And one last question on that basis. Would there bea difference in that option.
If the business is bought as a cash/ paid for business tickets or if it was a points purchased business tickets.
Yes, if we don't do business them she will just enter as my guest, If we do go business then it wont matter as either way she gets in,
but this doesn't help my other two guests. Maybe closer to the time ill keep an eye out for people getting rid of pass's and see what pops up.
Ill give...
Yeah mate, I have the paid membership and My wife would be my guest.
So i was hoping I could purchase vouchers or pass's for another couple to get in on the trip we are all taking together.
haha i know that's what I am afraid of :P We will probably end up going business. And you feel like you have to sit out with them waiting to board. But it's waste of club membership not to use it.
So I want to buy them pass's to get in to club at least.
