Most likely it's a setup issue with the terminal. Clearly Amex is accepted by the merchant (as the physical card worked) which points to the terminal (Tyro was mentioned in the OP) not being set up by the acquirer correctly, or the merchant specifically not wanting to accept Amex Apple Pay...

On another account that last week received the 2000 points for any spend I'm seeing a $50 shop for 4 weeks = 6000 points.

QF8 Halibut was moist and just cooked, delicious. The breakfast roll was good as the bread seemed fresh(ish), ie not as hard as a rock like usual.

The one time Max DNF's and Sergio is no where to be seen... not good enough. It's a shame Daniel isn't beating his team mate atm otherwise it would be nice to see him get back alongside Max to see if he still has it. Wishful thinking I know.

Picked up a nice 2000 points for next (no minimum) spend at WW on a dormant account this week.

I also realized recently there are offers that auto boost, which seems odd to me. I thought the whole point of offering boosters is to entice people to take them up so then WW would have the data on users preferences etc.

How good is the lounge on the 388! I've been taking QF7 across the pacific over the last few years however this time QF11 was the best option timing wise. Absolutely loved the lounge, spent a good 4 hours there working before a solid few hours sleep then waking and feeling refreshed for the day...
