I've never had to show the card, i've never received a physical card despite crediting to the program. I'm just going to ask at checkin if it shows *G still, otherwise I will just punch in my VA WP so I can at least use the Krisflyer lounge

For finding reward seats you just tick the box that says Points + Pay
