Hey Jimmy, so if you book legs one by one at different dates/times, how does the system know it's part of the same itinerary?

So the only way to get access to the Qantas International Business Lounge in Syd/Mel and Emirates Business Lounge in DXB if flying Australia - Europe rtn as a Qantas Club Silver would be to buy the flights from Qantas either directly or from an agent?

So if you booked a Europe rtn in Y on Emirates metal from the Emirates website there is no lounge access in Australia or Dubai?

Thanks for looking. So it turns out that the destinations that I was trying for are the problem. FCO or MXP. Maybe it's the 8 hour layover rule? I'm not sure.
