Seems likely VH-OQK departed SYD at 17:14 on 9th August to LAX as positioning flight QFA6013.

Had the same issue on 6th June QF1 VH-OQK got a text and email from QF regarding the problem. Friend travelled a few days before on 3rd June QF1 VH-OQB got the same email. Seems to be an ongoing issue with the A380 fleet.

Todays (19/7/23) QF1 is now showing as delayed overnight with a new Thursday 20th of July at 06:45 in the morning departure loaded in.

Further to this the scheduled 23:40 Monday 17 July QF12 LAX-SYD is showing as delayed overnight until 12:50 on Tuesday 18 July. This is despite two A380s VH-OQB & VH-OQK being in LAX already. Add the fact QF82 SIN-SYD is an A380 today as well...... so 3x QF A380s (VH-OQB,VH-OQH,VH-OQI) all on their way to SYD within a few hours of each other tonight.

QF A380 VH-OQI has left Abu Dhabi where it has been since 25-Feb-2023 and is on its way to Sydney as QF6014. This will be the first time this A380 has been in Australia since 2020.
