Cancelled a booking this morning at about 8.30am. Just wondering how long it usually takes for the miles to be credited back to my account. Anyone have experience on this. I know it will cost me 6,000 points pp in cancellation fees but at least I get the taxes back (over $800).

WOO HOO!! Just booked Etihad 1st class apartment, 2 pax, Sydney - Abu Dhabi. Bought miles under the latest AA offer and got two seats for about AU$4,000 inc. taxes. What a bargain. I'm stoked!! :lol:

Has anyone used AA points to fly on LATAM within Sth. America. The LATAM website will only accept searches for return fares but we want to fly one way between Santiago & Sao Paulo. No award flights showing on Qantas for that route or on SYD-SAO.
