i stayed there in a residence as a diamond. got 6 keys, three for the room for me and my guests and 3 for lounge access... was interesting going down the lifts walking across and then back up to the lounge in a different building...

Which is again interesting, as once when a Diamond i did stay there and had an Exec room booked and got a Suite ( Love the bath there ) but it was a Sunday night booking... so may have been a pretty lightly booked day. Seems theres alot of variation and somewhat a lottery.... sadly.

Anyone have any idea on the length of time it takes to achieve the status upgrade once the requirements are met. I filled the form, and made my two stays, and never received a confirmation email or any other notification of activation, etc.

On a positive note, if you fly the east coast alot, and come across 'Danelle' she is a lovely CSM who will go above and beyond for your serivce and comfort on board, i have sent a compliment feedback to VA, had a note added to her HR file for future reference.
