Not the cheapest way to get to Manila I know but I thought it was worth a mention as its the cheapest I've seen QF fares get. Lots of travel periods in 2015. Too much capacity these days perhaps? Philippine Airlines are offering similar fares, $624 from MEL, $639 from SYD.

Are there any hotels in Darwin that charge in 24 hour blocks, specifically to suit the Jetstar 1-2am departures/arrivals? It just seems like poor value for money to pay for a night at a hotel when checking in at 2am and then paying another night when checking out before midnight.
