Most efficient way of getting Kris Flyer Gold status

Hi, Newbie here. I was wondering if anyone knew the quickest way to get Kris Flyer Gold status. I’m currently on the basic level. From my research, a return First Class ticket from Sydney to New York on SQ ought to do it, but I’m not sure. Any tips/ideas would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Qantas/Amex Changes [consolidated threads]

Hi Oz_Mark, Yes I'm a premium card holder and it's the same letter. But I can just see Amex making the Accent Premium program available to other non-premium card holders with a higher joining fee. Hence, IMHO, a grab for more money. armanie

    Qantas/Amex Changes [consolidated threads]

Accent Premium coming! Hi, I'm not sure if this is old news, but it's new to me. I just received a letter from Amex this morning, saying that Qantas is going to quit the Accent program. Therefore, you will no longer be able to transfer your MR points to QFF. However, if you want to continue...

Are Centurion card holders entitled to the Platinum CC?

    Credit Limits for Altitude Cards

Hi, I'm interested in getting a Westpac Altitude Mastercard so I can continue to accrue points. I currently have a CBA Platinum Mastercard and fee free for life Citibank Gold visa card, but I've already reached my cap for both, and it's not even half way through the year. I figured I might...

Anybody get annual fee waived for Centurion Card?

Thanks for your opinions. I guess what I'm trying to ascertain is at what point do Amex consider some one valuable enough to waive the $4300 annual fee? If some one spends say, over $2m per year on their card, is that valuable enough? What do you think? armanie

Any advantage in using a third party to book QFF award flights?

Hi, Does anyone know if there is any advantage in using a third party, such as Amex Centurion Travel, to book QFF award flights? Do they have a system which allows them to see available seats over a number of days, or do they have to do what I would have to, and search day by day? I've tried...

Citibank disputed transaction handling - subtle difference vs ANZ

Hi Ninja, From my experience of a couple of years ago, Citibank make you pay the amount first then credit you in the next billing cycle. At the time, I had about $2K of unauthorised charges on my credit card. When I rang them, they said the would investigate. During this time, the next billing...

Using Amex Points with Singpore Airlines

Hi Max_1, You should be able to ring up Kris Flyers and book the seat first, before you have to transfer your points from Amex. I did that last year for my flight SYD-SIN rtn in business class. I needed 4 seats. When I rang up, they put me on wait list for the return flight. I waited until...

    Platinum concierge

Hi, At first, I thought the Centurion service was a bit of a gimmick. However, over time I have found them to be quite indispensable, especially when you're time poor. For example, I've been on holidays with the family a couple of times, and Centurion has organised everything. They organised...
