My booking through Virgin with a UA flight attached had the UA booking reference next to the relevant flight on my confirmation/e-ticket email.

Any working promo codes? Both ITX13 and CDX47 are not giving any special pricing even months out.

I logged out and logged back in and I was able to use a standard travel bank with the promo code.

I have a travel bank to use and tried the above step and got this error, so looks like you can't get use both a promo code and travel bank.

UPDATE: Upgrade request processed early this morning.

So tried to request the upgrade again today and still no instant confirmation! Might just wait to see what happens but no big deal if it doesn’t happen.

I booked the flight using the Amex travel portal as I had my $450 travel credit to use. Should've stated that from the beginning sorry but thought I had! When I last used it they sent the 081- ticket number when there was 2 people on the ticket but the time before they didn't. Should I contact...

Other than my ticket confirmation email is there a way of finding out if the ticket has been ticketed? Sorry if this sounds like a silly question!

The 27.6k was for the full MEL-SYD-ADL flight in business. That's why I was considering cancelling the request and trying it again tomorrow, perhaps.

All I'm trying to do is upgrade the MEL-SYD flight for 10,900 points and it has let me request it but hasn't been confirmed like it has done every time previously for me. So other than to try the call centre again, the only other option I was considering was to cancel the request and try it...

Flight is domestic. MEL-SYD. It's the first leg of a MEL-SYD-ADL single ticket. Might that be the reason?

I'm able to see award availability when I book for 9. Its an A330 operated flight. The call centre stated that they could only request the upgrade using points and couldn't confirm it.

Has been about 8 hours since the booking was placed. Received e-ticket quite quickly. Tried twice now to get the upgrade confirmed so have resorted to calling call centre and now trying to get it sorted.

What has happened to immediate upgrades on domestic flights if an available business class award is available at the time of booking? Have requested the upgrade but hasn't been confirmed and there is definitely award seats available.

Haha no use to me either living in Adelaide.
